Date Added: 07/01/2021
The small Chapel in Sandy Cemetery has recently undergone a transformation thanks to the kind donations and tireless work of a group of local volunteers.
Generous local residents and trades people, organised by Gee Leach, took on the project of refurbishing the Chapel, including:
-
revarnishing the main door and interior cupboard doors
-
arranging repair of the door lock
-
painting and replanting two large planters
-
replanting the rockery garden
-
cleaning and repainting walls and floor tiles
-
cleaning windows and leadwork
-
replacing carpet
-
refurbishing pews, lectern and cupboard
