Wellness Wednesday

This week is about keeping safe in the sun. Get yourself ready and prepared for the hotter weather...

Macmillan Cancer Support are sharing top tips for applying sun cream properly in partnership with Soltan.

Use about 2-3 tablespoons of sun cream to cover your body and rub it in evenly.

Make sure to apply cream to clean and dry skin.

Apply sun cream about 20-30 minutes before you go out into the sun.

Reapply every two hours, or immediately after swimming, towelling dry or if you’ve been sweating a lot.

Don’t forget those easy to miss places - lips, tops of ears, back of neck, feet and scalp.

Make sure your sun cream is not out of date, usually sun creams last 12 months once opened.

Organisation of the week
Our organisation of the week goes to...... National Trust

Did you know it is National Gardening Week.

Tending tidy borders, making sure kitchen gardens are fed and watered, and keeping spaces pruned and peat-free, looking after gardens is a year-round job for our team.

Gardening is also a great form of exercise it builds strength, promotes sleep, and helps you maintain a healthy weight.
