Sandy Town Council: We need local Sandy people to join our Community Emergency Plan

Sandy Town Council are currently building a list of contacts for the ‘Sandy Community Emergency Plan’. We are looking for people with particular skills, resource and/or capability that would be useful in an emergency.
Would you be able to give assistance in a crisis? Perhaps you are a shop owner or run a local business, or you have necessary knowledge that could help in a local urgent situation?
Please get in touch if you can be of assistance. We are looking for people who match criteria of the below list and are happy to put themselves forward as a contact to be added to the plan:
Local charities based in the community, gardeners, generator owners, faith group or local faith buildings, Local police community support officers, local farmers, local firemen or retained fire station, The GP surgery, nurses, local doctors, hairdressers, The post office, local store or supermarket managers, local schools, charity shops, cafés, restaurants, takeaways, The village hall or community centre, care homes, pharmacists, garden centres, The Neighbourhood Watch Group.
This means that in an emergency, you would be notified via WhatsApp group to play a pivotal role in helping get urgent support to members of the community.
