Sandy Town Council: Sandy Remembrance Sunday Parade & Service 2023
Date Added: 01/11/2023
On behalf of Sandy Town Council, the Sandy & District Branch of the Royal British Legion and St Swithun’s Parish Church, we are inviting the community to this year’s Remembrance Parade and Service.
We are glad to be able to come together as a community, from across the town and participate in the act of Remembrance.
The Parade will begin on Swan Lane and march through to Bedford Road War Memorial, where the two-minute silence, Act of Remembrance and wreath laying will take place, before proceeding via the High Street to St. Swithun’s Church, for the Service of Remembrance.
The town council plans to install Remembrance banners on lampposts along Sandy High Street on Thursday 26th October to mark the occasion and in the lead up to Remembrance Day.

All donations will go to the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
Sponsors will be invited to leave a message of remembrance which will be available to read on our website.
