Central Beds Council: Garden Waste Collections are Suspended

All kerbside collections of household garden waste across Central Bedfordshire are suspended over the winter.
Collections of garden waste will not be taking place between Monday 5 December 2022 and Friday 24 February 2023.

Recycling centres
During the break, garden waste can still be recycled at our four recycling centres (also known as Tidy Tips).
Our recycling centres are open seven days a week, from 9am to 5pm - with some changes to opening hours over the Christmas and New Year period.
• Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve: 9am to 1pm
• Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day: Closed
• All other days, Monday to Sunday: 9am to 5pm
Composting
You could also consider composting at home, putting the nutrients back into your soil.
