Central Bedfordshire Council: Free Courses with Multiply!
Date Added: 31/10/2022
What is Multiply?
We have an exciting new offer for our Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough residents. Multiply is a government funded programme, aimed at improving adults’ numeracy skills which can lead to positive improvements such as career progression opportunities, confidence with budgeting skills and the ability to help children with homework.
Bedfordshire Employment and Skills Academy (BESA) has partnered with Bedford Borough Council to deliver free maths courses to upskill our residents aged 19 and over, who do not currently hold a GCSE or equivalent maths qualification at grade C/4 or above.
Learners can then progress onto higher level maths courses, outside of Multiply but still delivered by BESA, and undertake their Level 1 and 2 Functional Skills to achieve an accredited maths qualification.
