Remembrance Sunday Parade & Service 2022
Date Added: 23/10/2022
On behalf of Sandy Town Council, the Sandy & District Branch of the Royal British Legion and St Swithun’s Parish Church, we are inviting the community to this year’s Remembrance Parade and Service.
We are glad to be able to come together again as a community, from across the town and participate in a communal act of Remembrance in a more traditional way this year.
Last year, due to COVID-19, the entire parade and service was held outdoors, however, this year we will return to the usual venue, St. Swithun’s Church, for the service.
The Parade will begin on Swan Lane and march through to Bedford Road War Memorial, where the two-minute silence, Act of Remembrance and wreath laying will take place, before proceeding via the High Street to St. Swithun’s Church, for the Service of Remembrance.
