Sandy Town Council: Autumn Market - Sunday 1st October

On Sunday 23rd April we hosted our first seasonal market of the year, with the second one coming up in 2 months’ time. On our Spring Market we were lucky to have a beautiful day with many showing up for the occasion. The community were eager to get buying with numerous clienteles browsing the stalls early and being drawn in by the different set ups happening in Sandy Market Square.
Sandy centre buzzed with activity, as visitors explored a wealth of artisanal products, gifts, art pieces and tasty treats from 16 small businesses. We received lots of interest from the community and traders made good sales on the day – with The Biggleswade Sandy Lions completely selling out on their decorative gift mugs and raising some decent funds!
Thank you to all the businesses offering their lovely, unique products. We appreciate our residents getting behind local businesses and choosing to shop with independent retailers in the town. Our markets wouldn’t be possible without the excellent vendors showing up rain or shine, and we are grateful for the efforts that they have put in to make it all possible.
We are eagerly awaiting our next Autumn market scheduled to happen on Sunday 1st October 2023, again at 10am – 4pm.
