Sandy Town Council: Christmas Lights Switch On Event

The weekend is here and so is our Christmas Lights event. The tree is up in market square as well as the lights - ready to shine!
Sandy and surrounding residents are invited to our FREE Christmas lights event, being run by Sandy Town Council. The details are as follows:
Date: Sunday 3rd December
Time: 12 - 5pm
Location: Market Square, Sandy
Expect a festive Christmas market with all the favourites: mulled wine, gin, victorian donuts & german sausages, glows and kids novelty toys, community groups recruiting and fundraising, christmas plants & wreaths, fashionable clothing, curries, wooden hand crafted items, baked goods, a hog roast, gifts for your pets AND MORE!
Please see the above program for the day and also expect to see: Santa parade through town to his grotto, Simon the Snowman & our Illuminated Stilt walking Fairy will be greeting guests.
Sandy Town Council will be selling raffle tickets to win the below fantastic prizes (drawn on Monday 11th December 7:30pm in Sandy Town Council Offices):

Please see the below map for the event and be aware that there will be road closures in place from 8am - 8pm. Please do NOT park in the parking bays in Market Square / Cambridge Road / The Car Park outside Shannon Court on Saturday night.
