Enjoy Summer in Greensand Country

Date Added: 23/06/2022

Greensand Country is beautiful in the summer months. It is perfect for walkers, with long distance footpaths, easy circular strolls, gentle gradients and astonishing views. The quiet roads and pretty cycleways of Greensand Country are ideal for a day out by bike. The landscape and sandy soil of Greensand Country also makes it the perfect place for horse-riding.

Photo of the month!

Thanks to Bev Stephenson for her recent submission of this photograph via our 'Share Your Experience' tab on the Greensand Country website.

Bev told us: "I have recently discovered the beautiful Greensand Ridge walk. I say discovered, as I've lived in Bedfordshire all my life and assumed I knew this walk fairly well, but this year I actually followed the map. We continue to be overwhelmed at the beautiful scenery and incredible wildlife on our doorstep."
