Roadworks - A1(M) junction 9 slip road: lighting renewal

Highways England plan to close the A1(M) slip roads at junction 9 and carry out renewal of the slip road lighting.
They expect to complete this work over five nights from Wednesday 10 November to Tuesday 16 November working between 8pm and 6am on weeknights only, subject to weather conditions.
Closures and diversion
Following agreement with Hertfordshire County Council, they will need to close the A1(M) exit/entry slip road and the A505 Letchworth Gateway from junction 9 on the A1(M).
Traffic will be diverted onto the B656 / High Street / London Road and the A505 before joining the A1(M) at junction 9.
HGV traffic will be diverted onto the B656 through Baldock and follow the A505 / Wallington Road to join the A1(M) at junction 9.
