Arts and Culture Survey

A team of researchers at the University of Bedfordshire has been commissioned by Central Bedfordshire Council to undertake research on the arts and culture sector.

The purpose of the research is to review arts, culture and heritage provision, and the impact of Covid19 in Central Bedfordshire by collating views and experiences of those working in the sector.

Lead investigator, Dr Tamara Ashley, says ‘This research will inform the future of arts and culture development in Central Bedfordshire. I hope that we can reach as many interested people as possible to gather a broad and diverse range of views and knowledge on the arts sector.’

Councillor Ian Dalgarno, Executive Member for Community Services said: “We have commissioned the University of Bedfordshire to conduct Arts, Culture, and Heritage Research to help us improve our cultural and strategic offer. The research will review the current provision and the impact of COVID-19 in Central Bedfordshire.

“By consulting with residents, cultural groups, partners and individuals involved in the arts, culture, education, nature and heritage sectors, it will give us an opportunity to work more inclusively as we refresh plans and ambitions going forward.”
The researchers are interviewing key stakeholders and providers of arts, culture and heritage activity.  If you wish to take part in an interview, please email [email protected]

Have your voice heard and be a part of creating the future of arts and culture in Central Bedfordshire! Be part of the research by filling out the research survey available at this link:
