Kerbside collections will continue over the Bank Holiday

Date Added: 29/03/2021

Kerbside waste resuming BH
Is your kerbside waste collection due over the bank holiday? Then we have good news! Your kerbside waste collection will continue, including Good Friday and Easter Monday. You can check which bin will be collected by visiting our website.

Collection days
Tidy tips are open - you must book to visit
Our local tidy tips are currently open, but this is by booking only. This is so we can keep both our residents and staff safe. So, if you are planning a larger project and think you may have to visit one of our household waste recycling centres, visit our website to book your appointment.

They’ll be open over the bank holiday weekend, so you’ll need to check our website to see what slots are available first. New slots are opened on a daily basis, seven days in advance. If a date shows as not available, it means that either:

  • all slots are booked for that day, or
  • we have not opened bookings for that date yet i.e., it is longer than seven days’ time

Visit our website to view the current restrictions that are in place and to book your slot. You can also find information of what you’ll need to bring with you on the day, such as your booking reference, ID and proof of address.

Other useful information
Customer services are closed
Our customer services telephone lines will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday. For emergency contact telephone numbers, go to our website.

School term dates
Check our website for details of school term dates through until summer 2022. Not all schools follow these dates, so check with the school if in any doubt.

Report or track roads and highways problems
You can report and track highways and environment problems online.

For other council information, check our website.
