Book of Condolence for His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh
Date Added: 12/04/2021
Sandy Town Council has opened an electronic Book of Condolence for His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. Due to the effects of the current pandemic, Sandy Town Council would encourage those who are able to use this online book to share and record their messages of remembrance.
Messages may be submitted online, here until Monday 19th April, and will be displayed below the next working day.
Alternatively, messages can be submitted by email to [email protected].
Members of the community who would like to contribute to the Book of Condolence but are unable to do so online, will be able to attend the Council office at 10 Cambridge Road, Sandy, SG19 1JE to leave their message in person, in a covid safe environment. The book will be available for contributions to be made between 10am to 4pm, from today until Friday 16th April 2021. In the interests of safety, we would ask those planning to attend the Council office to wear a face mask where possible, to bring their own pen to reduce the risk of high-touch points, to use the hand sanitiser provided and to follow all social distancing signage.
Members of the public are also invited to sign an electronic Book of Condolence on the Royal Website, at www.royal.uk.
