Act with caution if you ever receive a suspicious text message or email
ScamWe are warning residents to act with caution if they receive a text message or email that appears to have been sent by the “Royal Mail” or “DPD”.
The message claims they have been unsuccessful in delivering a parcel and instructs you to click on a link to a make a small payment to reschedule the delivery.
This is a SCAM!
On first impressions the message may appear genuine, but the sender is attempting to obtain your personal information and bank card details.
Delete the message from your device. Do not reply to the message or click on any links or attachments provided.
Please help protect others from falling victim to this type of scam, by letting your family, friends and neighbours know about this alert.
