To support businesses through this next phase, the 'Working Safely' guidance provides advice on sensible precautions employers can take to manage risk and support their staff and customers.
• Continue to follow Government guidance on working safely during COVID-19
• Continue to collect contact details for all customers, visitors and staff
• Encourage staff to test using Lateral Flow Devices (LFDs) twice a week
• Tell us if you have more than 3 confirmed COVID-19 cases at your workplace over a 14 day period - complete this online form or email the team
• Ensure all employees who are ‘pinged’ by the NHS COVID App or who are contacted by NHS Test and Trace isolate as instructed.
There are free sessions to help managers and staff cope with the transition back to work - book or view some short webinars.

New programme to help local businesses embrace sustainability
We’re supporting Green Business Network (GBN) to set up a new programme – Green Connectors, which is a referral network for providers of green products and services.
This network aims to increase business for green solution providers by teaching them how to refer each other to their clients.
This supports the Central Bedfordshire’s 2050 Vision and we want to be able to support businesses to be able to put environmental issues at the heart of decision making for a sustainable future.
