Have your say on council budget draft

Central Bedfordshire Council will be inviting you to have your say on its draft budget for 2022-23. This will include council tax, our spending plans for the year ahead and the areas where we plan to reduce costs by being more efficient.

The consultation will run from 4 January until 30 January 2022.

More information will be available on the council's website (here) in the New Year and we would encourage business to take part, and have your say.

FSB Regional Awards - free to enter & open to all

How to bid for and win government contracts
The government has published a ‘Selling To Government Guide’ which will give small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) essential information and includes advice on where business owners can look online for Government contract opportunities. It includes tips on how SMEs can make sure they are showcasing their strengths during the bidding process.

Interested in becoming a Central Bedfordshire Council supplier, register your interest on the In-tend system. Once an expression of interest has been made the tender documents can be downloaded and viewed.

Employers workshops - creating a safe space in the workplace

Sign up to a Domestic Abuse Awareness Workshop to become a Safe Space In The Work Place.

Central Bedfordshire Council is part of the Bedfordshire Domestic Abuse Partnership which raises awareness about domestic abuse and unhealthy relationships.

There are free Domestic Abuse Awareness Workshops to businesses in Central Bedfordshire to support employers to feel confident when responding if an employee reports abuse, and to enable the right support for employees.

These workshops run between January and March 2022 and are free of charge. Find out more here.
