Public Toilets

Sandy Town Council provides two sets of public toilets at:

Sandy Town Centre Car Park, High Street, Sandy, SG19 1AG, open Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 5.30 pm.

Bedford Road Recreation Ground, Bedford Road, Sandy, SG19 1EY, open daily from 8 am to 5.30 pm.

The toilets are maintained and cleaned by Town Council staff.

Please contact the Council on 01767 681491 to report any problems.

At both sites we have facilities for disabled people which can be accessed with a Radar toilet key. The Royal Association for Disability Rights (Radar) is a national charity that campaigns for the rights of the 11 million people in the UK with a disability or health conditions and the Radar key scheme fits into the charity's objectives to promote freedom and choice so disabled people can lead the life they choose.  Like many town councils Sandy uses the  Radar Toilet Key Scheme because we have to lock our toilets to counter vandalism and in order to reduce costs.   You can obtain a radar key from  Disability Rights People's Shop.  The key unlocks the disabled toilets on our sites and also 9000 other sites in the UK.
