Recycling centres opening times
Looking to visit one of our recycling centres over the festive season? Opening times may differ from the normal:
• Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve: 9am – 1pm
• Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day: Closed
• All other days: Monday to Sunday, 9am – 5pm
How to recycle your real Christmas tree
Once the festivities are over - and your real Christmas tree is looking slightly sad and limp - simply leave it next to your recycling bin, on your normal collection day between Monday, 10 January and Friday, 21 January 2022.
• Please don't put it in a bag or sack.
• No other garden waste will be accepted during this time.
• Trees should be no taller than 6 feet (1.8m) tall, with trunks no greater than 3 inches (15cm) in diameter.
• Alternatively, you can also recycle trees at your local recycling centre.
