Weekly COVID-19 report 03.12.20

Date Added: 03/12/2020

COVID-19 weekly figures - 29 November 2020

Weekly figures
This week, in Central Bedfordshire we’ve seen 225 new COVID-19 cases. This is 31 cases less than last week and 121 less than two weeks ago. However, like last week, we are still reporting sadly another six deaths.

Also, it is important to consider the situation in other areas close to us, all three of the areas list below have seen a drop in new cases which is good news:

Luton – 513 cases and 5 deaths
Milton Keynes – 376 cases and 8 deaths
Bedford - 171 cases and 7 deaths

Weekly reports

Hands. Face. Space
Let’s keep up the good work and make sure this downward trend in new cases continues. We can all play a part in protecting others by:

  • washing our hands regularly
  • wearing a face covering
  • socially distancing from anyone we don’t live with

If you have symptoms, test positive or are asked to isolate by Test and Trace you MUST do so and can be fined if you don’t. Our website has details about support and advice available to you if you need help to isolate.

Useful information from GOV.UK on restrictions and Christmas
GOV.UK also has useful information about:

  • Tier 2: High Alert - what you can and cannot do in an area in Tier 2 of local restrictions.
  • Making a Christmas bubble with friends and family
