We report on the COVID-19 each week and the most recent data is showing (for the week ending 30 August):

  • 2,379 people tested
  • 21 new cases
  • Ampthill (5 new cases) and Leighton Buzzard North (4 new cases) being the most affected areas

Staying safe
To help avoid spreading the virus, every can help by:

  • social distancing – keep 2m apart from anyone outside your household or bubble
  • wear face coverings in settings where they are mandatory or if you think you are unable to maintain social distancing
  • keep washing your hands regularly

If you have symptoms, however mild, stay at home other than to get tested.

If you are contacted by the Test and Trace scheme, please be open and honest about who you have been in contact with. No-one will get into trouble and this is vital information that can help to protect others.
