Suspicious Cold Callers in Arlesey area

Act with caution if you receive an unexpected visit from a tradesman offering their services

We have received reports of individuals cold-calling at homes in the Arlesey area, without prior appointment, encouraging residents to have work carried out to their guttering.

Trading Standards advise residents not to agree to any work to be carried out by uninvited traders. If you are interested in the work being offered, take some time to obtain at least three quotes from reputable local businesses, before proceeding with any type of home improvement work.

The Trading Standards team are currently looking into the reports received.
