Sandye Place- At Risk

Date Added: 24/05/2024

Sandy Town Council is calling on residents to make their opinions known at the Central Bedfordshire Council's Executive Meeting on 4th June at 9.30am, in the Council Chamber, Priory House, Monks Walk, Chicksands, Shefford, SG17 5TQ.

Here are a few options to make your voice heard:

  1. You can attend the Executive Meeting: click here for details and speak using this form: click here for form
  2. You can attend to show support as a member of the public.
  3. You can write a deposition to be read out by one of your local Ward Councillors. Send this by email to your Ward Councillors:
  • [email protected]
  • [email protected]
  • [email protected]

Your speech or deposition needs to unequivocally state that you object to the divestment of Sandye Place, grounds and buildings; that you want it to be developed as a Community Asset to guarantee the aspirations of the Town Council’s Neighbourhood Plan as consulted with the People of Sandy.
