National Highways roadworks information: A1 Biggleswade, northbound

National Highways plan to carry out essential maintenance work to replace the weather detecting equipment on the A1 at Biggleswade. As part of this work, they will be installing sensors on the main carriageway.
It is planned to complete the work over 1 night on Monday 11 April between 9pm and 5am, weather conditions permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out our work safely, they will need to close the A1 northbound between Stotfold Interchange and Sandy Roundabout.
Northbound traffic will be diverted from the A1(M) at junction 10 onto the A507 towards Clophill, to join the A6 and travel northbound then follow the A421 eastbound to re-join the A1 at the Black Cat Roundabout.
