Message from Anglian Water regarding low water pressure

Date Added: 19/07/2021

We are very sorry that customers in Sandy are experiencing lower than normal water pressure, this is caused, in part by the warm weather and subsequent increased demand. We have put in a solution to help improve and maintain water pressure in Sandy, this was originally planned in for September, but we are pleased to share that the work has been completed.

In order to implement this solution, we are currently completing infrastructure modelling to ensure that by changing the configuration of the network, we are not causing any detrimental impact on the system. This modelling work is due to be completed by Thursday, after which we will be able to change the network configuration and increase water pressure back to normal for those customers affected.

We would like to thank you for your patience whilst we get things back to normal for our customers,
