Home Library Service

Date Added: 10/05/2021

Do you find it difficult to get to your local library?
The Home Library Service is a library outreach service that is available to anyone who wants to read or listen to books but has difficulty visiting a library and has no-one able to choose and collect books for them.

The service is available to people of all ages including children as well as carers who may find it difficult to visit the library due to the nature of their caring duties.

The service covers all of Central Bedfordshire and is based at Flitwick Library.

How does the service work?
Every three weeks you will recieve a bundle of upto 10 books or spoken word CDs selected by our staff based on what you like to read.  These can include large print books as well as board books or picture books for children. Your book selection will be delivered directly to your home by our friendly delivery service.
