Guidance for reporting Covid-19 in the workplace

You can view the Local Workplace Management Flow chart, which is now available for Central Bedfordshire businesses. The latest guidance for workplaces are requiring employers to notify a national Self-Isolation Service Hub if a positive case of COVID-19 is identified, along with a list of the workplace close contacts associated with the case. They can be called on 020 3743 6715.

EU Settlement Scheme
Latest Government guidance outlines that EU, EEA or Swiss citizens already living in the UK prior to the end of the transition period, will need to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme if they intend to continue living in the UK after 30 June 2021.

Recovery loan scheme
The new scheme launched on 6th April 2021 and will remain open until 31 December 2021 and loans will be available through a network of accredited lenders, which can be found here on the British Business Bank website together with details of how to apply.

SME Brexit Support Fund
This fund helps small and medium-sized businesses new to importing or exporting and could give you up to £2,000 to help with training or professional advice.
You can use the grant for training on:

specific import and export related aspects including VAT, excise and rules of origin
