Free online sessions for parents

Topics include child exploitation, online relationships and wellbeing

Our Early Help Team is running a number of sessions aimed at parents giving information, advice and guidance on a number of subjects.

The free sessions, which will run on Microsoft Teams, will help you find out more about a number of different topics and find ways to support the children and young people in your life.

Each session with run on Microsoft Teams, and you can register using the Eventbrite links below. Joining instructions will be sent via email before each session, and the team will send out resources afterwards.

CHILD EXPLOITATION
Thursday 25 February, 4.30pm – 5.30pm

Do you know what Child Exploitation means? Would you like to find out more about it?

This session will feature a guest speaker from Link to Change, an independent charity offering support for children and young people who are at risk of or have been victims of exploitation.

SAFE AND UNSAFE ONLINE RELATIONSHIPS
Thursday 18 March, 4.30pm – 5.30pm

Are children safe online? What is internet safety?

This session will feature a guest speaker from Link to Change, an independent charity offering support for children and young people who are at risk of or have been victims of exploitation.

MOVING FORWARD
Thursday 22 April, 4.30pm – 5.30pm

Supporting children during an unsettling time, and advice on anxiety and promoting positive wellbeing

This session’s guest speaker is Chloe Lovell, an Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner.
