Coronavirus update -10.05.21

Date Added: 11/05/2021

Every vaccination gives us HOPE

More than 35 million people have now had their first dose of a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine, that's over two thirds of the adult population. Over 16 million people have had both doses.

The NHS remains on track to offer a first dose to all adults by the end of July.

One jab at a time, the approved vaccines are helping to send this virus into retreat, with coronavirus cases and deaths now at their lowest levels since the start of the pandemic.

Take up the offer when it comes so we can put this pandemic behind us.
It is now more important than ever to come forward for the second dose, so we can ensure everyone has the absolute strongest possible protection from this dreadful virus.

Book your jab as soon as you’re offered it, and come back for your second dose. It’s never too late to come forward if you are eligible.

All vaccines being used in the UK have met the independent Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MRHA) strict standards of safety, effectiveness and quality.
