Date Added: 14/04/2022

The Bedfordshire Employment and Skills Service works with a wide range of training providers to support Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough residents with local and online adult learning opportunities.

One of our training providers, SSG, focuses on supporting residents with skills for work and career progression in a range of sector areas including business administration, warehousing and health and social care.

Another training provider, Best Practice People, has recently introduced new provision that supports residents who are interested in developing skills and qualifications for work in the hospitality sector.

Training for work and career progression

At SSG their mission is to help people upskill and achieve more through an innovative and diverse approach to learning, personal development and professional progression.

Their learning pathways are tailored to meet individual needs and provide the confidence, knowledge and ability to enter the workplace or support career progression.

Courses start weekly and training includes:
• Digital skills
• Sector-specific training and qualifications including business admin, warehousing and health and social care
