Postal survey may be dropping onto your mat
This month we will be mailing?out the Adult Social Care Survey (ASCS) to a sample of 1100 people with care and support needs, aged 18 and over, who are in receipt of long-term support services funded or managed by social services. This is an annual survey carried out by councils in England on behalf of NHS Digital.
The national Adult Social Care Survey (ASCS) seeks to learn about how effectively services are helping people to live safely and independently, and the impact that these services are having on their quality of life. It also collects information about self-reported general health and wellbeing.
Recipients are selected at random and all surveys will be sent through the post together with a freepost envelope. If you do receive a survey, we would really encourage you to complete it and return but if you do not wish to do so this will not affect the service(s) you receive in any way.
The results from the survey will be used by organisations such as the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS Digital and the Care Quality Commission, as well as Central Bedfordshire Council.
The survey is important as it helps Central Bedfordshire Council to understand what works and what needs improving, and to ensure that we are getting our services right.
If you, or a member of your family, receive one please do fill it in and return it as it will help provide the insight to develop future services.
If you have any queries regarding the survey please email [email protected].
