A1 (M) junction 10 to A1 Biggleswade Northbound Roundabout: Surveys

Highways England will be carrying out essential survey work at the above locations. These surveys will assess the condition of the road surface in these areas.
They plan to complete this work over 2 nights from Thursday 17 June to Saturday 19 June, between 8pm and 6am, subject to weather conditions.
To ensure the safety of our workforce, they will need to close the A1 from A1(M) junction 10 and A1 Sandy roundabout and divert traffic as follows:
Diversion route
Traffic to be diverted off the A1(M) at junction 10 to join A507and travel north to the A6, join the A421 and the A603 to re-join the A1 at Sandy roundabout.
They apologise for any noise disturbance caused by our works, and will aim to keep noise to a minimum.

Access to residents
Residents who live around the location will be able to gain access to their properties at the closure point via escort vehicles.

Please be assured all their sites have strict safeguarding measures to prevent the spread of COVID19. They will be carrying out all works following safety guidelines set by the Government.
