Folly VI Sandy
Date Added: 17/11/2014
This mysterious and intriguing installation appeared at Pinnacle Hill, Sandy over the weekend. It is the work of British artist Andy Holden whose work has been exhibited across Europe but who has returned to his roots by placing this piece in Sandy. The sculptor's father Peter Holden is a renowned ornithologist who worked at the RSPB for many years and Andy previously lived in Blunham and attended school in Sandy.
The work is a temporary structure and will be removed today, Monday 17 November. Andy hopes that people in the communty enjoyed seeing this sculptural "folly" in their landscape and will continue to share images and interpretations of his work.
