The Town Council provides a range of services to the local community. Some of these are on a recharge basis. Examples are listed below together with the charges, with effect from 1st April 2011.
Allotments
We have no allotment tenancies available at the moment.
Bowling
The Town Council owns the Bowling Green on Sunderland Road Playing Field, Sandy.
Although it is on a long-term lease to Sandy Town Bowling Club it is available
for public use. Cost £3.30 per person, per rink, per hour. Contact: Officers
of the Bowling Club for access.
Cricket
The Town Council owns the Cricket Square on Sunderland Road Playing Field, Sandy. The Square is available for public use but please contact Sandy Cricket Club on 01767-680887 for availability. If hire of the Council's Jenkins Pavilion facilities are required please contact the Council Offices on 01767-681491 for availability
Football
There are Senior and Junior pitches on Sunderland Road Recreation Ground. These
are allocated to local clubs on a seasonal basis but occasional casual games
may be permitted, contact the Council. Cost: Senior £27 + VAT, Junior £7.90 + VAT per game.

Sandy Cemetery
The Town Council is responsible for the Cemetery in Potton Road, Sandy. A full
list of all the charges in relation to this can be obtained from the Council
Offices.
St. Swithuns Churchyard
The Churchyard of St. Swithuns in the high street is now closed for all burials.
The Town Council does though maintain this churchyard.
