I have lived in Sandy since 1979 and have one son

I have been a serving Town Councillor since 2005 and have been on many committees and working groups. I shall now be concentrating on representing Sandy and Beeston as Town Mayor – which is a great honour.

If I get some free time I hope to be able to keep my garden looking good as my husband and I are members of the National Gardens Scheme which raises over £2 million for charity every year
